Prevention Services, an organization that aims to break of the cycle of
family violence by providing emergency shelter, housing, and additional
Arms of Hope – Arms of Hope is a nonprofit Christian care organization that helps
children and single-mothers families. Arms of Hope's residential care
facilities include Medina Children's Home (60 miles northwest of San
Antonio) and Boles Children's Home near Dallas.
Smile Train – Smile Train is an international children's charity that has helped
train and fund local doctors in over 85 developing countries to provide
free cleft lip and palate repair surgery.
American Red Cross – The American Red Cross is one of the oldest and most highly respected
humanitarian organizations committed to providing compassionate care to
individuals and families in need.
SAMMinistries – SAMMinistries has been a leader in helping San Antonio homeless
and near-homeless families since 1983. The organization plays a crucial
role in providing housing, resources, and compassion throughout the local
Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund – JDRF is an international organization that helps fund type 1 diabetes research
in 17 countries. JDRF is committed to finding ways to prevent, better
treat, and eventually cure the disease.
